Our Club’s guiding Principles are:
“Understanding through friendship and Friendship through Understanding”

In order to further these aims we welcome women from around the world to join us, we learn about their cultures and try to explain our own.

Our monthly programmes include coffee mornings, talks, lunch parties, concerts, theatre, shows, embassy visits and exhibitions. In addition to these events, we have our very popular group trips abroad. In the past few years we have visited France, Germany, Italy, Lebanon and Armenia.

We are affiliated to Fiwal, The Federation of International Women in London, an umbrella organisation encompassing around thirty three clubs in London.

We are also a member of “Welcome Clubs International” in the USA, which has Sister Clubs all around the world, including France, Germany, Italy, Taiwan and Brazil.

Every two years one of the welcome clubs hosts a four day conference. These are wonderful occasions for women of all nationalities to meet and learn more about each other.
